Sofia Richie’s Husband Elliot Grainge Hilariously Narrates Her Makeup Tutorial: ‘At Least He Knew Mascara’

As Sofia Richie and new husband Elliot Grainge enjoy their tropical honeymoon, the music executive helped his bride apply her makeup for the day’s excursions.

“GWRM with me. Hi, my name is Sofia Richie Grainge, and I’m gonna do a makeup tutorial,” Grainge, 29, said in a TikTok video posted on Saturday, April 29, to which Richie, 24, chimed in that she had already started applying her first product.

Putting this black tube makeup on the face, blobbing everywhere. Putting black foamy thing under the eyes. Wow, this is quick,” the 10K Projects founder continued, referring to the fast pace of the one-minute social media video. “Another black tube putting lines above the eyes [and] everywhere [for contouring]. Putting on another foamy black thing. OK, here we go: Rosy red cheeks, rosy red, doubling on the rosy red cheeks. I think this is the fourth time.”

While Grainge stumbled to keep up with the Nude Stix beauty director’s pacing, he also struggled to properly name the products. The England native ended up calling Sofia’s beauty blender the “foamy black thing” and her concealer simply became the “black Chanel tube.” Lionel Richie’s youngest daughter, for her part, couldn’t stop giggling with each makeup misstep.

By the time Sofia got to her eye makeup, Grainge already knew the proper terminology.

“We’ve got another beautiful pink thing: Mascara,” he added. “Lengthening the eyebrows. Now we have another mascara, nope, this is an eyebrow mascara.”

NEWS ‘Cheer’ Coach Monica Aldama, Navarro College Sued by Student for Allegedly Covering Up Sexual Assault

Navarro College and its head cheerleading coach, Monica Aldama, have been named in a lawsuit for allegedly concealing a sexual assault, Us Weekly can confirm.

Navarro student — and a one-time member of Aldama’s squad — Madi Lane claimed in a court filing obtained by Us on Thursday, April 27, that she was sexually assaulted by a teammate during her first semester at the Texas college in 2021.

Lane further alleged that she told Aldama, 51, about the encounter but was urged by the coach to “not make this a big deal.” While Lane ultimately quit the cheer team, she claimed that the Dancing With the Stars alum offered to help her find another team if she kept “quiet” about the alleged misconduct.

According to the court documents, Lane reported her assault to the campus police. She was allegedly told that “this type of thing happens all the time” and “nothing will happen” in regards to her aggressor potentially facing consequences.

Neither Navarro nor Aldama, who has worked for the educational institution for nearly 30 years, have publicly addressed the legal battle. The Full Out author, for her part, has deactivated her Instagram profile

Navarro’s cheer team was previously at the center of scandal when former student Jerry Harris was arrested on charges of production of child pornography after an FBI investigation. Harris, now 23, was also accused of soliciting sex from minors while at cheerleading competitions.

The Illinois native initially pleaded not guilty to seven felony charges, including four counts of sexual exploitation of children, one count of enticement, one count of receipt of child pornography and one count of travel with the intent to engage in an illicit sexual contact with a minor. Harris later changed his plea on two of the counts in February 2022 ahead of his sentencing hearing. The Netflix personality was sentenced in July 2022 to 12 years in prison.

To my victims, I am sorry for all the trauma my abuse has caused you. I am ashamed as I know that I took advantage of your youth and weakness,” Harris said at the time. “I was wrong and selfish. I caused you harm and I do not blame anyone. I regret my decisions and I am deeply sorry.”

Amid the scandal, Harris did not appear on season 2 of Cheer, which dropped on Netflix in January 2022. However, Aldama and his former teammates did mention the controversy in the docuseries.

Taylor Swift Sings About ‘Falling Back in Love’ on New Collab With The National After Joe Alwyn Split

The perfect partnership. Taylor Swift teamed up with The National on their latest album — and fans are already dissecting the heartbreaking duet following her split from Joe Alwyn.

The “Lavender Haze” singer, 33, sings with Matt Berninger on “The Alcott,” which dropped on Friday, April 28, as part of the band’s ninth record, First Two Pages of Frankenstein. The ballad paints a picture of two former lovers reflecting on the end of a relationship in a similar fashion to Swift’s “Coney Island.” (Berninger, 52, also appears on the 2020 Evermore track.)

“I get myself twisted in threads to meet you at The Alcott / I’d go to the corner in the back where you’d always be / And there you are, sittin’ as usual with your golden notebook / Writing something about someone who used to be me,” he begins in the new song

Swift joins in on the chorus: “And the last thing you wanted is the first thing I do / I tell you my problems, you tell me the truth / It’s the last thing you wanted, it’s the first thing I do / I tell you that I think I’m falling back in love with you.”

When the refrain repeats elsewhere in the tune, Swift’s voice echoes after each line. “Tell me, which side are you on, dear? / Give me some tips to forget you,” she sings. “Have I become one of your problems? / Could it be easy this once?”

As the bridge kicks in, the duo take turns crooning: “I’ll ruin it all over (Why don’t you rain on my parade?) / I’ll ruin it over for you (Shred my evenin’ gown) / I’ll ruin it all over (Read my sentence out loud) / And over like I always do (‘Cause I love this curse on our house).”

Swift has been a longtime fan of the rock band, which consists of Berninger and brothers Aaron Dessner and Bryce Dessner, as well as brothers Scott Devendorf and Bryan Devendorf. Aaron, 47, previously collaborated with the Pennsylvania native on her albums FolkloreEvermore and Midnights, and recently made a surprise appearance to perform with Swift on her Eras Tour in Florida.

“The Alcott” is one of the first bits of new music fans have heard from Swift following her split from Alwyn, 32. Us Weekly confirmed earlier this month that the couple called it quits after six years together, with a source exclusively revealing that “fame factored into” the breakup.

Prince Harry Is ‘Very Nervous’ About King Charles III’s Coronation

A quick visit. Prince Harry is “very nervous” about King Charles III’s upcoming coronation, a royal expert exclusively tells Us Weekly.

“I think he’ll be nervous about how the family [will] react to him, and I think it’s pretty clear that he’s gonna minimize the amount of time that he’s in London,” Nick Bullen, the editor-in-chief of True Royalty TV, tells Us. “He’s already said that he wants to be back for Archie’s birthday that afternoon, that evening.”

Earlier this month, Buckingham Palace announced that the Duke of Sussex, 38, will be traveling to the U.K. for his father’s coronation while his wife, Meghan Markle, stays home in California with their children, Prince Archie, 3, and Princess Lilibet, 22 months. Archie will turn 4 on Saturday, May 6, the day Charles is crowned king.

“It will be very much of a fly-in visit,” Mullen adds. “Harry isn’t part of the procession or the balcony appearance,” which is typically limited to working royals, the expert notes.

The Sussexes have been estranged from The Firm since stepping down from their roles as senior royals in January 2020. Tensions between the Sussexes and Harry’s relatives have only increased since the Archewell cofounders began speaking out about their experiences as royals after leaving the U.K. for California in March 2020.

In addition to their 2021 sit-down on CBS and their December 2022 Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, the prince released his debut memoir, Spare, in January — a tell-all with many allegations against his brother, Prince William, and their father. Among the accusations are claims that the monarch’s team leaked unfavorable stories about his sons, William allegedly got into a physical fight with Harry and tension between Meghan and Princess Kate.

Amid all of the tension, Charles, 74, “was hoping the coronation would be a chance to better connect and maintain healing between [him and Meghan],” a source exclusively told Us earlier this month, revealing that the king — who ascended the throne upon Queen Elizabeth II’s death in September 2022 — was “sad” that his daughter-in-law wasn’t attending the celebration.

Patti LuPone Slams Kim Kardashian’s ‘American Horror Story’ Role: ‘What Are You Doing With Your Life?

Not interested in keeping up. Patti LuPone is not pleased that Kim Kardashian is joining the cast of American Horror Story — and she’s not afraid to share her thoughts on the matter.

The Broadway legend, 74, weighed in on the casting news during a Sunday, April 23, appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. The topic came up as a question during a game of “Do! They! Give a Damn!?”

When host Andy Cohen asked whether LuPone gives a damn about Kardashian, 42, joining the FX series, the Tony Award winner replied, “Yes, I do.” The Superficial author, 54, then asked, “You don’t like it, do you?” The Beau Is Afraid star didn’t hesitate when she responded, “No, I don’t.”

After the Bravo exec prompted her, LuPone confirmed that one reason she’s not happy about the reality star’s casting is that it means she’s taking roles away from established actors. “Excuse me, excuse me, Kim,” the 30 Rock alum said. “What are you doing with your life?”

The Juilliard School graduate added, “Don’t get on the stage, Mrs. Worthington,” referencing a Noël Coward song about an overzealous stage mom who wants her untalented daughter to have a career in the theater. “For her to hope / Dear Mrs. Worthington / Is, on the face of it, absurd,” read the lyrics. “Her personality / Is not, in reality / Exciting enough / Inviting enough / For this particular sphere.”

After LuPone finished answering the question about Kardashian, fellow guest John Leguizamo chimed in to add, “Whatever she said, I double the emotion.”

Earlier this month, AHS cocreator Ryan Murphy announced that the Selfish author would be joining season 12 of the long-running series alongside his frequent collaborator Emma Roberts. “Kim is among the biggest and brightest television stars in the world and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family,” Murphy, 57, told The Hollywood Reporter in a statement on April 10. “Emma and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture. Halley Feiffer has written a fun, stylish and ultimately terrifying role especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done.

10 Best Limited Series on Netflix

Limited series on Netflix have really saved us so much time in recent years, haven’t they? Sometimes we just don’t have time or even the attention span to keep up with a show over the span of multiple seasons which can last up to numerous years. We change, our life circumstances change, our interests change, and that show that caught out attention years earlier just doesn’t hit the same. So, it seems perfect that limited series has soared in popularity over the years, allowing us to get our fix of drama, entertainment, tears, and happiness with just one binge session. Or, if you like to take it a bit slower, a slow-paced, one week worth of watching over your dinner.

Luckily, Netflix has spoiled us with choices due to their seemingly endless amount of limited series that explore a wide variety of topics. For instance, we gained a real insight into the realities of homelessness in present-day America in the limited series Maid starring Margaret Qualley. At the same time, the extent of how one unassuming person can con people out of millions was explored in the true-life-inspired series starring Inventing Anna, with Julia Garner as the titular lead. Then, there are those binge-able series that transports us into a whole other world, such as the genius, chess-playing realm of Beth Harmon in The Queen’s Gambit and the world of a young girl living in fear after escaping from a devil-worshipping cult in Devil in Ohio. There are also other shows that are based on shocking true stories, such as When They See Us and Unbelievable. You will be outraged after watching these two.So, keep on scrolling for our list of the ten best bingeable limited series on Netflix.

1. Maid (2021)

Margaret Qualley in Maid
(Netflix)Margaret Qualley single-handedly ended the nepotism debate with her extraordinary talents when she starred in the 2021 drama Maid, for which she was nominated for an Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie. Inspired by Stephanie Land’s memoir Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay, and a Mother’s Will to Survive, the show focuses on single mother Alex who can’t seem to catch a break. After fleeing an abusive relationship and acquiring no help from her own dysfunctional mother (played by her own mom, the wonderful Andie MacDowell), Alex moves from shelter to shelter while at one point being on seven different forms of government assistance to provide for her young daughter. She eventually finds a job cleaning the homes of wealthy residents in a bid to pull herself out of poverty, build a better future for her child, and realize her dreams of becoming a writer. In particular, this miniseries shone a light on the plight of those living in poverty in America on a daily basis.
2. Midnight Mass (2021)
Hamish Linklater as Father Paul Hil
(Netflix)The cinematography, the writing, and the acting all came together beautifully to deliver the most breathtaking limited series in Mike Flanagan’s religious horror Midnight Mass. After serving four years in prison for killing someone in a drunk-driving incident, a young man (Criminal Minds actor Zach Gilford) returns to his remote hometown on Crockett Island in a bid to rebuild his life. However, he arrives at the same time as a charismatic yet mysterious new priest who hopes to renew the island’s faith. However, the priest’s actions cause a divide within the community and it’s not long before a series of mysterious events begin to plague the small town
.3. Unbelievable (2019)
Kaitlyn Dever wears a hospital gown
(Netflix)

Based on the 2015 news article An Unbelievable Story of Rape, written by T. Christian Miller and Ken Armstrong, the Netflix miniseries Unbelievable is based on the Washington and Colorado serial rape cases ranging from the years 2008-2011. The real-life inspired series sees a teenager named Marie (Kaitlyn Dever), who is charged with lying about being raped. However, her arrest doesn’t sit well with two female detectives Det. Grace Rasmussen and Det. Karen Duvall, played by Toni Collette and Merritt Wever, who set on a twisted path to discover the truth of what happened to Marie and a slew of other young victims

.4. The Queen’s Gambit (2020)

Beth Harmon studies up on her chess skills.
(Netflix)The Queen’s Gambit dominated Netflix in 2020 and turned actress Anya Taylor-Joy into a bonafide star as she carried the impressively intricate and complex costume drama with utter perfection. Written and directed by Scott Frank, the show is a coming-of-age tale of a young girl named Beth Harmon, born in a 1950s orphanage, who reveals her extraordinary talent for chess and sets out on an unlikely journey to become to greatest chess player in the world, all, while grappling with addiction and her personal demons. As expected, award season came calling for this series, which became the first show on a streaming service to win the Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series category at the Emmys. Taylor also won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Miniseries or Television Movie.
5. Inventing Anna (2022)
Julia Garner as imprisoned Anna Delvey in 'Inventing Anna'
(Netflix)

Julia Garner constantly won rave reviews for her epic performance in Ozark, but Inventing Anna really made us appreciate the true extent of her acting capabilities. In the series, Garner transforms into the real-life inspired role of Instagram-famous Anna Delvey, who managed to convince New York’s elite that she was a German heiress and swindled them out of their money to fund her own hugely ambitious projects. But, it’s not long before journalist (Anna Chlumsky) sets out to investigate the story, which has people begging the question, is she really a brilliant entrepreneur or a cunning con artist? During an interview with Elle, Garner explained how the famous Delvey accent she had to learn for the role saying, “A lot of times, people coming from Europe to live in America, their accents start to shift. And Anna especially does that anyway, she kind of embodies whoever she’s hanging out with. She’s struggling a lot with her own identity, so you see her pick up on traits from whoever she’s hanging out with.

6. Clickbait (2021)

Nick Brewer holds a sign that says "At 5 Million Views I Die"
(Netflix)Clickbait was the stuff of nightmares and really showed us the true extent of the dangers online. When a loving family man Nick Brewer is abducted, and a viral video of him emerges online saying he will die if the video receives 5 million views, those close to him race against time to uncover who is behind the atrocious acts and for what reasons. This show, starring Adrian Grenier, Zoe Kazan, and Betty Gabriel, will keep you on the edge of your seats throughout and will honestly have you guessing till the very end. Now that’s what we call a masterful thriller!
7. From Scratch (2021)
Zoe Saldana in From Scratch
(Netflix)

Just a little warning in advance, okay, more like a major warning, get your tissue box at the ready! This emotional miniseries, starring Zoe Saldana and Eugenio Mastrandrea, follows the journey of an American student named Amahle “Amy” Wheeler, who falls in love with Sicilian chef Lino while studying in Italy. After mixing their two cultures and families, the pair finally have their happily ever after, but Lino soon faces a serious health issue which threatens their future forever. Want to know something that will devastate you further about this limited series? It’s based on a true story!

8. Unorthodox (2020)

Esty Shapiro wears a floral dress
(Netflix)In Unorthodox, a nineteen-year-old Hasidic Jewish woman named Esty Shapiro (played by Shira Haas) escapes an arranged marriage in the Satmar sect of the ultra-Orthodox community in Brooklyn, New York City. She heads to Berlin, where her estranged mother lives to start a new life abroad. However, while discovering life outside her community and rejecting the beliefs she grew up with, it’s not long before her past catches up to her as her husband discovers she is pregnant and, by order of a rabbi, travels to Berloin to find her. Haas sat down with Vogue to explain why she was drawn to the character of Esty explaining, “She’s tough, stubborn and knows what she wants, but she’s also very naive and wants to please people and fit in. It’s a beautiful challenge for an actress to be all of those things, and it’s still rare to find female leads who are that powerful.”
9. When They See Us (2019)
When They See Us (2019)
(Netflix)

When They See Us, which was created, co-written, and directed by Ava DuVernay for Netflix, is truly an important watch. The likes of Jharrel Jerome, Michael K. Williams, Blair Underwood, Vera Farmiga, Niecy Nash and many more truly excel in this series that was based on the 1989 Central Park jogger case in which five Black and Latino male suspects were falsely accused and then prosecuted on charges related to the rape and assault of a white woman in Central Park, New York City. The story, including their time spent in prison, is followed until their exoneration in 2002.

10. Devil in Ohio (2022)

Mae leans her head on Suzanne's shoulder
(Netflix)Devil in Ohio flew under the radar when it was released on Netflix in 2022, but we still think it is a truly brilliant horror miniseries that deserves more recognition. Emily Deschanel plays psychiatrist Dr. Suzanne Mathis who takes in a young and traumatized patient (Madeleine Arthur) after she escapes from a devil-worshipping cult in the rural neighboring county. However, she doesn’t realize that taking the teen in puts the lives of her loved ones in danger and must race against time to save her family before they all meet a deadly fate.
